White Bump Under Upper Eyelid. You can get a stye from an infection. Eyelid bumps come in many forms including styes chalazia xanthelasma and milia.
An internal or inner stye is usually caused by a bacterial infection in an oil gland in your eyelid. They appear as small globs containing white fat beneath the skin. They are usually filled with pus or a clear fluid making it appear whitish or yellowish.
These usually appear as tiny pimple like elevations along the eyelid rim or lash line.
White bumps on the edge of the upper or lower eyelid may occur due to high levels of triglycerides and ldl. A xanthelasma is harmless. Some conditions such as conjunctivitis cellulitis bacterial infections dermatitis and psoriasis can lead to bumps. When this occurs you may develop a white bump.
